Started in 2012, the collaboration between French Army and Metravib goes on. Thanks to a tight collaboration with RTD, 60 more SLATE units (Sniper Acoustic Localization System) systems were delivered at the end of 2014 thus complementing the equipment already supplied to the French Army.
In total, 200 SLATE units will be mounted on VAB armored vehicles produced by Renault Trucks Defense. Metravib acoustic gunshot detection systems are now recognized equipment by Army Forces worldwide and become an essential component in the protection of their personnel.
