In collaboration with SELEX ES, the Metravib Product Team has successfully installed on the field the first Metravib PILAR Ground Version in its multiple arrays configuration in Afghanistan.
The FOB of the Italian Army located within the NATO West Region in Afghanistan is now fully protected by the Metravib PILAR acoustic gunshot detection system with acoustic arrays deployed all around the perimeter of the military camp.
The Metravib PILAR system is now fully operated for more than three months and has already detected several shots allowing the Italian Army to protect military and civilian assets from the main threats that are encountered on this type of theatre.
